    THIS IS COMMON WITH DISH TO INSTALL A REMAN OR USED BOX WHEN THEY INSTALL,IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED JUST CALL AND BITC* AT THEM AND HOPEFULLY YOU CAN GET THEM TO SEND YOU A NEW ONE,AS FOR THE 522 'PROBLEMS'..WE ALL HAVE THEM..I'TS CALLED BEING A BETA TESTER...LOL

    what dish needs to do with the 522...forget about caller id as most cordless phones have them....all you have to do is look at the phone...they need to put all of there effort on developing the software for the interactive functions on the 522 ,obviously they are very understaffed in that...

    i have not have the problems except for some audio hiccups but from aside that...my 522 is working like a gem....with L2.04..along with some new counters page in diags....
