totally agree - I'm good with this strategy as it's also how i discover new shows they're always skippable and easy to ignore. if i'm binging something, it's only the first show that has the trailer ad and then after that, there are none.

I find this is typical of other "ad-free" service plans from AppleTV, Peacock, Disney+, etc. Seems pretty consistent across the industry that promos for other content on a given platform are not considered ads, despite what customers may think.
