    Thanks, only issue is if anything can actually be done other than modify the existing firmware, it's all a reverse engineering nightmare, once my service for sure shuts off I'll play around with the box again and see if I can either turn it into an fta box or accidentally brick the unit trying

    I actually looked into their receivers having an ethernet port and do have some information on potentially altering the firmware to be fta. On the old firmware versions they left the ethernet port with root ssh access wide open. I was able to dump the whole firmware to a flash drive, but it...
