Did you experience any other problems with the bad BBCs? Since moving to Directv from TWC I would describe the PQ and DVR "flakey" at best - audio drops, flashes on screen, pixelation, etc. None of which happened with TWC.

Seems like it happens more with ABC than any other. The audio synch was way off tonight for Gray's Anatomy and the pq was choppy/jerky. Anyone else see this? What can be done? Should I go back to cable? It wasn't happening with TWC. dsm :confused:

I had the same problem. Resetting fixed both my receivers, too. QUestion is: why did this happen? I am a new customer and I have noticed very flakey events like this.

It only seems to happy with CBS - no other locals. The PQ is normally good - but occasionally a white flash/pixelation shoots across the screen. Didn't happen when I had TW cable... I would have to say in general the PQ was much better with cable, however (lately) the selection on D* is...

It is channel '13' - which is the local CBS station.

All my recordings to HR20-700 from CBS-HD seem to have intermittent "flashes". Happens about every 2-3 minutes. Otherwise the pq is acceptable. The flashes have only been happening on CBS and no other network yet. I don't watch much live television so I can't say for sure if it's an issue with...
