Mine are leased, don't own any of the equipment. So basically I could cancel the PP since I haven't really used it in many years.

So the PP is for home service calls and not replacing defective units? I have had one visit in probably 10 years or more. So if my Joey or Hopper unit bit the dust they would replace it for shipping only?

Okay, maybe down the road because I get local channels already and I don't record anything on those channels at all, nothing redeeming. I use the antenna as a back up when I lose signal on the dish so If I could get the dongle at a fair price I guess it would be something to play with. Thanks

Never really thought about this until the other day I was perusing the menu and came across the app for OTA or something like that. When I opened it up it stated something to the effect I needed some USB dongle or something to use this. So what is it I need to get the OTA channels on the Hopper?

MLB.tv I have been using my Roku with great success to get my games. Doesn't matter if Dish puts an app on the Hopper or not. Don't need EI at all anymore

Mostly I want a folder named "Movies" so all can be put there and not make the the DVR look cluttered. This should be an easy software upgrade on Dish's part. A no-brainer!

I can finally use it! Don't know what I did but I can now access my DVR remotely. I did upgrade my router with new firmware and a new desktop program that shows all devices connected. I really think this had a lot to do with it.
