Can't compare since he has the older Hopper with sling instead of Hopper 3, but I bet it is faster. I notice one thing that makes a difference that he pointed out to me. He uses an ethernet cord directly to the Hopper instead of wireless. He said it makes it more stable and it doesn't lose...
