I did a search and didn't find much in this forum so......Is there a way to add time (similar to the recording options in the DVR's menu) to a scheduled recording done on the computer? I've just been selecting the subsequent program/s to cover myself, but is there another way?? I have HR-20 100s.

I have this issue with OTA and my HR20-100. The audio is probably 20 to 30ms ahead of the video. I can set my preamp to delay the audio, but them I'm sunk when I watch the satellite feed.

Menu/Manage Recordings/Prioritizer/select the manual recording you want and delete.

That's a good question. I just noticed this morning in my list that folders for all my manual recordings had been moved up an hour. All of my manual recordings happen in the evening, so I don't know exactly when the change occurred. The programs recorded properly last night.

Yep, the time reads correctly in the guide. I deleted my recurring manual recordings and re-programmed them for the correct time (an hour later.) Hope I haven't messed anything up.

Has anyone had this happen automatically to their recurring manual recordings? Maybe it has something to do with the upcoming time change or something.

Yes, "Channels I receive" is a bit of a misnomer. I originally thought that the the receiver/satellite communication somehow knew a particular person's programming package and displayed only those. Not so.

Are you trying to record two programs and watch a third live tv program or one that has been previously recorded? If the third is live tv, you won't be able to do that without stopping one of the recordings. If the third program is already recorded and in your play list, you can do that. If your...

I still feel that OTA looks a bit better here in Los Angeles. One thing I have noticed is that the volume level on most OTAs here is greater than their D* counterparts.

I can't seem to find that preference either.:confused: Rad maybe you have different software. My 4th option down (and the last one btw) is Guide/grid first etc.

I wondered this same thing and did a search on this forum for "screen saver". It appears at this point anyway, that there is no way to defeat the screen saver on default for the HR-20.

I'm in the exact same boat. :( Not that CNBCHD is must see tv for me, but it makes me wonder about my ability to receive subsequently released channels. In the setup section it seems to also fail at finding 99a (which some feel is not yet available) or just bypasses it altogether.
