Not sure about your specific wifi adapter but wifi does work with the Hopper. The HIC, wired ethernet and wifi are all options.

Even with the bugs it seems like a nice system. Of course I came from a pair of 322's. While they were far from buggy, they didn't have near the feature set of the Hopper/Joey. To stay on topic, I finally got the new software. DLNA finally works and can see my computer.

The speed of the guide and changing channels is my favorite thing. Much better when channel surfing. My buddy who has Directv came over to check it out and he was in love with the responsiveness and speed.
