Jason I am still having audio problems with dolby digital on. Only on certain channels, Speed HD, Hotpass HD, Do you think this CE has anything to help me? P.S. Have you heard anything about the HR-23's

Uggh... I Wish I could tell you...... Hopefully the guy with the yamaha receiver can let us know..(his name escapes me).... If this CE fixes the audio problems when can we expect a national release?

I do not claim to be a computer guy, or an expert at much, but I'm kinda knowledgeable about a bunch O' stuff. I Have seen first hand how goofy receivers can be if they overheat. It sounds like your receiver did a hard drive reset, but with power problems, you should not expect anything...

I think I missed the window.... it says new software found (0229). Does 5 min. make a difference? It's not like it's rocket science... Or is it! Somehow, sarcasm does not translate into type...... Hopefully they (the programmers) will fix my dolby digital problems.....

Crimping is not allowed anymore...... Must be compression fittings.

Download Be sure to force a download to get the newest software by entering 02468 when the receiver is starting. (The blue welcome screen) This may solve your issues. Without the software download new receivers act just plain goofy.

nevermind it is downloading now, hopefully it will resolve the problem i have with audio dropouts on certain hd channels using dolby digital and the spdif output.
