With nimiq 4 coming on line in the near future<see link>, I would have to say they would be going to a dish 1000 antenna set-up. A superdish is not the answer, with the three lnb set up on the 1000, all of Vu's birds would be seen, two birds working together and the other two in there own orbit...

I have started out with Vu close to 7 years ago. My first HD reciever was the early expressvu 5000, a very limited unit to bell from dish and then came the 6000, had that for over two years then went on to the 6100 and that was the best machine by far even if dish customers didn't like there...

I believe Vu will be adding two 24/7HD channels coming on line soon. What I think is happening is they are moving channels that were on 82 to 91/3 to make room for more HD and something else that is coming in the pipe!

If you are on the edge of the foot print, I would recommend the Vu 90cm dish because if you are around 50, when it rains, snows you will loose satellite signal. The other option I have been seeing in toronto is using superdish's 105 or 121 and I have seen some of the dish 1000's also, the bigger...

Vu is running a promo channel on channel 197/all subs should see this. Hdnet will be up for the month of july on certain weekends only on channel 831-HD HDPPV Channel<only HD recievers will see this channel, 6000, 6100 & 9200. There are more HD channels that will stand on there own coming soon...
