Think it's been at least 2-3 years since I got new hardware, so I'll have to give them a call and see what the story is. I have close 17-18 years with DirecTV I guess, so maybe they'll give me some kind of a deal...we'll see!

I do sub to MLBEI....I'm not dumb enough to think that I can get any game without being subbed to Extra Innings. I looked at the MLBEI schedule on DirecTV and it doesn't list the game even though it shows up in the guide on both of the RSNs. Guess they're just not carrying it for some reason...

I sure would like to know why today's Braves/Marlins game is blacked out on FSS and FSF when I live in Pennsylvania. It's not a national broadcast.....not on Fox (I'm not getting any game on Fox today), not on TBS, not on MLBN. So why the blackout?

Interestingly enough, I found the Boston/L.A. game is available on Fox Sports en Espanol.....audio is Spanish though. Knew I shoulda paid more attention in high school Spanish class :) It'll do....

Dunno...I have WIP playing the Flyers radio broadcast with the NESN sound muted. I'm a good minute or more behind actual play. Was bad enough listening to Andy Brickley on Versus the first bunch of games but I just can't take Jack(ass) Edwards.

Ahhh! Didn't know they were doing that. Wonder if they will tomorrow night as well? Watching the Red Sox tonight and they've been pimping that they're showing game 6. Will have to remember to look into it.

Wish we could say the same thing for FLYERS games. I detest Jack/Jerk Edwards so much that last night I had WIP's audio on my phone into my stereo so I could mute the NESN audio. WIP's audio was a good minute of gametime behind NESN's video so I had to play DVR jockey and get em close to sync'd up.

Not true...I do receive my RSNs as determined by DirecTV. Balt/DC and Pitt. According to DirecTV, Philly is not my RSN, so not carrying CSN Philly as a full-time channel should have no bearing on it. Without the sports pack, I would get the Balt/DC and Pitt RSNs.

Absolutely....don't shoot the messenger....I was only relaying what I read the Comcast guy was reported to say on WIP. It's a ridiculous thing for anyone from Comcast to say.

Interesting tonight....Flyers vs Rangers. Dtv has the game on MSG and a Comcast RSN in California. Right before the game, the Comcast Cali channel was open for me and I saw the CSN Philly intro. I thought, awesome, I'll get to see the home feed! Well, a minute later it blacked out YET the MSD...
