    T-Mobile (Gov't?) bill taxes increasing

Yeah - I had the same thing happen earlier in the year and now again. It is hard to tell if these are truly government mandates taxes, or since I have "locked in" pricing on my phone and internet if these are other ways to raise the cost. Back in April or May I had a 50 cent increase on my...

    T-Mobile (Gov't?) bill taxes increasing

I have one $10 unlimited tablet line on my TMO Business account. I already pay $1.60/month in taxes. Now it'll be $2.10. That's more than 20% of the bill.

Yet another out-of-band update to fix what the Patch Tuesday update broke. It isn't particularly common and is related to an unusual use of Outluck Classic. https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/microsoft/microsoft-releases-emergency-oob-update-to-fix-outlook-freezes/ Here's one that they are...

looks like GT Media has left the satellite receiver business

It's far more likely that people will not be watching C-band because there won't be any C-band to watch, if the FCC has their way.

looks like GT Media has left the satellite receiver business

Not many people here in the U.S. are going to buy new receivers because of 5G. I haven't been watching much C-band and I'll probably take my dishes down this summer. If there were enough services on Ku I'd put my Ku antenna back up.

National Association of Broadcasters FCC Filing

The National Association of Broadcasters in their latest FCC filing have requested that the FCC require TV manufacturers to include ATSC 3.0 tuners with a suggested time frame of 1 year. But FCC has not agreed to that request. Plus manufacturers are concerned that they could be charged royalties...

    Winter Storm Fern & Pipes

Over night we got several hours of snow & sleet, with no noticeable ice accumulations on trees or power lines at this point. The heavier freezing rain is supposed to move in this afternoon, but it has cut our projected overall totals to .25 to .5 inches. Those are flat ice forecasts too, which...

looks like GT Media has left the satellite receiver business

I am aware, from a reliable source, that GTMedia was threatened by legal figures representing certain European sports leagues. As a result, they have discontinued some receiver "features." Other than that, nothing has changed. Their newer receivers are still a solid choice for FTA use with stock...

...cameras. As for eBay, the account I bought mine from, gtmedia-business, only has one receiver left, the new 4:2:2 model. Another account that *also* claims to be the official account, gtmedia-prime, is still selling various receivers. I also note that their eBay listings no longer claim...
