I checked out my 6x8 switch. The first dish is plugged into the 101° ports, the second dish (my locals on 72.5°) is plugged into my 101/119° ports. I switched the second dish to the flexports just to see what would happen. All three receivers lost signal. I put them back & presto, all good again.

Hope I don't sound too dumb, but what's a flexport?

Hi. When a person saves to a VCR does it have to be one show at a time, or can several shows be qued? For example, Say I have 6 Family Guys TiVoed. I want to save them to tape. Do I have to save one at a time or can I tag 6 to save & the Tivo will transfer them in order to the VCR?

The insanity. That's one more thing about the Tivo. The 30 minute buffer is too small.

I have two 18" D* dishes. I like the way the one is mounted to my 3 sided antenna tower much better than the way the other is. Is there a good website I can browse that has hardware I can purchase to mount my dish a different way? Thanks.

No kidding. Myself I find the shows on old tractors/machinery interesting & educational. (I grew up on a farm). RFD is 100x better than say Lifetime....

no it's OK now. In fact when I lost sound, if I flipped to a channel I wasn't recording I had sound.

She likes the Tivo but won't admit it. She is just rubbing it in because the VCR never did that. Plus whenever someone comes over I'm like watch this! Pause, rewind etc. cool huh? Hell yes they all reply.

Two times now my Samsung 80 gig Tivo has lost sound on a recorded program. Last night I was watching Fear Factor about 20 minutes after it started. Everything was going fine then it pixelated for a second (like bad weather) the pic came back but then the sound went out & I couldn't get it back...

I was really let down by the lack of caller id too. I love my Tivo, but I like on screen caller id. It seems like such a small thing to add.

I had 4.5 year old RCA's. I got the D10's when I upgraded to locals. The D10s are a BIG step backwards. They have terrible remotes, The don't look as nice in your entertainment center, the on screen displays aren't good, the guide is slow & it sometimes won't come up right away. When switching...

Something to think about though. While the RCA's are far superior to the D10s, The RCA will not have 100% function with the interactive features & the D10 will , correct? I hope I'm wrong. I want to hookup my 435RHs in place of my D10s.

They aren't old. It's my Tivo & D10's. In fact it seems to happen most often if I switch from a local channel to say Espn or etc. Is that normal? I have the two dish setup for locals.

I had RCA's. When I decided to get locals my RCA's would not work. So they traded me D10's. These D10's blow!!!! These receivers make a Dish 301 seem good.

Good enough, I have TC+. The best value for dollar pkg in the industry.

Actually I didn't disconnect the ground from the gasline. I later disconnected the gas line itself from the main meter. I had my driveway widen with more concrete so that line had to get dug up or instead I just smashed it & buried it in concrete. I figure that now it is a disconnected buried...
