That's kinda what I was figuring but a guy could hope. I assumed the only way the HS 17 would get a new UI would be to roll one out to all the receivers, not just the new one.

I too think that they will keep the products seperate. Its no different than Dish. Dish owns Sling, but you don't get Sling service if you subscribe to Dish. This will be no different.
