I don't know if you are asking about my post, but previously Fox News and Fox Business were on separate contract cycles compared to the Fox Sports channels. The 2019 dispute did not include Fox News and Fox Business, so it would imply that those are still on a separate deal.
I did my monthly scan, and the only thing I noticed different is that the cycling Boost Mobile ad, which was previous on channel 9547, was removed. That frees up one more HD slot on 110, TP 14. No other movements between transponders. The Cozi slate is on 110, TP 24, which is the same...
I am going to focus on might - I have no knowledge but we are closing in on when the FOX contract has come up for renewal in the past - the one that is sports heavy. The contract for FOX, FS1, FS2, Big10 Network, Fox Soccer, and Fox Deportes last expired in Sept 2019 and was renewed in October...
The page has been updated - Locals are going up to $14.00 across the board, and the note says it is now a $7 increase instead of "up to $8". I thought the locals would change based off zip code, but I guess not.

I can't answer #1 as I don't have a H3, but the second question - I was told by multiple CSR's that it is impossible to get those packages added, and anyone who had those packages if they change their package they can't get them back. Dish America used to be a great deal back in the day, when...
Today Dish updated the pricing page on the business side of things: "Effective 9/19/2024, local channel pricing will be increased by up to $3 per month. Check back periodically for updates regarding local pricing." MyDISH
If it is similar on the residential side of things, that would give us...
I am not sure if this was released yesterday or if this has been in the works for a longer time, but the price of Max is also going up, from $16 to $17, starting on 8/22/24.
The more I look at that, I think they might be doing that. During the final years Dish had RSN's they started adding the $1 - $3 RSN fee depending on location. DirecTV does that big time with RSNs. Locals make logical sense to do that. I just checked the Dish Locals page, and Dish carries 23...
That is a great question. I don't know where the additional $3 goes.
But, as I re-read that, could it be that each categories are up to an $8 increase? I originally read that the max a Dish customer would see is $8. The core packages are $5 increase across the board. Here are the current...
We value you as a customer. The price we pay to provide you with the programming you enjoy continues to increase well above the pace of inflation. We actively fight every day on your behalf to keep costs as low as possible. However, due to these rising costs, effective 9/19/2024, DISH is...
Dish's new prices are posted - going into effect September 19 (one month earlier than last year)

$5 increase on all packages
There is a note for a future change on pricing for the local channel packages. Not sure if that means different markets will have...
So you are not receiving A&E, History, AMC, MLB Network, Nickelodeon, Nat Geo Wild, Travel Channel, CNN, Weather Channel, Unimas, Showtime Too, BEIN, Tennis Channel, ACC Network, BIG 10 Network, and IPT? Those are the 16 channels on 119, TP 17.
119 TP 9 is a spotbeam. That spotbeam is only available in
Northern California/Western Nevada
Colorado/Wyoming/Western Kansas/Western Nebraska
Northern Florida/Southern Georgia
Eastern Texas, Eastern Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, southern Missouri, and Western Tennessee
Great Lakes region...
I am not sure if it is like this for Showtime, but with the Multi-Sport Pack and the Dish Movie Pack, when I cancelled, I didn't get the prompt about the 50% discounts trying to keep me on them. However, when I went to the "My Offers" section a couple of days later, the 50% offers were on that...
I do not receive it via Dish. However, WTVK is available OTA - it is ShopHQ. I have received 59 OTA for a couple of years now. I just checked Dish's website and sure enough it is listed as a Chicago local - but it does not show up as a satellite local. Thanks for pointing that out on the...
I am taking a look at Dish's website, and according to their update today, besides the two channel number changes I listed above, it also shows the following:
World Fishing Network moved from 394 to 375
Sportsman Channel (HD) moved from 395 to 376
I am not subscribed to World Fishing Network...
Only changes from the uplink today were the removal of 297 and 298, as well as the moving of Deal and Renew to channels 75 and 76. That was updated in the channel guides a couple of weeks ago - surprised it took so long for them to be updated.
Dish made some changes today before the normally scheduled uplink. The slates on 147 and 204 advertising where to find the Olympics have been removed. All the re-maps in the high 9900's that were tied to the apps have been removed. However, the Paris Extra channels on 297 and 298 are still...
Today's uplink had some channel moves:
267 is now 3ABN (was 9393)
268 is now BYU TV (was 9403)
269 is Free Speech TV (was 9415)
888 is Enlace (was 9411)
They are all on the same transponders as before. These were just channel re-numberings.
Also, with this month's Dish Scape on 199, when the Wild Sunflowers sing 10 minutes into the loop - is that the first time there has been any dialog in a Dish Scape? I don't recall there being any previous dialogs in any of them.
I wondered about the "signal protection" - let's say for a channel like TV Land or Disney XD, which is in SD on satellite, if the signal goes out, does it stream in the HD format (as it is in HD on the Dish Anywhere app), or is there an SD stream to give a similar look to the channel?
James Long's website has them listed: Spot Coverage from 119° As was mentioned up thread, the site hasn't been updated since 2022, but I am guessing the shape of the spotbeams wouldn't be changing.
