I understand those areas are NOT Continental US, that was my point. And obviously the new sat will still serve the Continental US. I guess I would have just said it would be serving "all US territories", if being nitpicky...

And if this satellite (or any others) also serves HI, AK, PR, or USVI, which E* DOES currently serve now, then saying it's "serving the CONUS" is technically not 100% accurate, either... ;)

When THEY say CONUS, they mean the satellite - spotbeam or not - is serving the CONtinental United States
