Theoretically, being that the AirTV and the EHDs are only USB-2, it shouldn't matter which plug you use. I guess that Dish put in USB-3 for future-proofing, then un-proofed themselves.

The only difference is that the top port is USB-3 while the bottom is USB-2. But it shouldn't matter as the Hopper can only support USB-2 speeds

I saw that a couple of times. As usual, EHD bugs. I got them back by accessing one of my other EHDs and then going back to the one that failed. I haven't tried going back to the Hopper main DVR display but my guess is that it won't work as I think you need to change the pointer to the bug EHD...

For a couple of days, I watched and deleted a few (well many) shows. The next day, all the deleted show were back in the DVR guide. Showed as played but they were there non-the-least. Anyone else see this. I watched a ton of the Chicago shows, deleted at the end and they were back.

Opposite. NBC is next day. CBS can take up to a week which is why I use the 30 second quick press fast forward trick.
