    101 SES-1 Mood

I've been using it all long noticed yesterday nothing. Of coarse now we're into the cold temps. Figured I'd ask here, everything OK with the mood channels? No new changes? Long weekend coming so I'll have time to try to the dish.

I have the LNBF only, I now need a scalar ring to be able to mount up to a 10 foot dish. Will any scalar ring fit? Or is there a specific one I need?

    How accurate is Lyngsat today?

Thank you, I did not realize this was a resource. The information was a little more current and I was able to compare it to my system and confirm I am seeing everything.

OK well I guess I'll wait until someone says "yeah its there, I hear it." I'm just not sure if I am doing something wrong.

    How accurate is Lyngsat today?

I setup a dish on 97W, I did a scan and I seem to have everything. I was looking at the radio channels and I specifically did not scan in WWCR and Globestar 3, the information looks to be almost a year old. Can anyone confirm?

AMIKO Amiko Mini HD265 clean up TP list

I want to make sure before I mess anything up. I was setting up a new LNB and diseqc arrangement. Now I have duplicate channels where one is "no signal" and the other is good. What is the best way to clean this up so when I watch TV I am only getting active channels?

    two diseqc switches

Yes, I believe so. I will need a plain old T. When I program my reviever for the monoblock and whatever two ports I assign to each satellite. For example LNB1 port A and LNB2 port B. I have to make sure that my external diseqc is using the exact same ports for this to work? Thank you

    two diseqc switches

The solution where I do not need a open the switch and solder. I'd rather use the T. The monoblock I'm looking at only has one output port. So what I am confused about if the monoblock has one output and I use the T and go into two ports of my diseqc switch. I understand how to set my receiver...

    two diseqc switches

I currently have two fixed dishes and I use a simple pansat 1.0 4x1diseqc to switch between the two and that's great. I want to swap out the LNB on one of my dishes with one of these DMS International Model: JSC-MB4-2 From what I under stand you can cascade switches but it would have to be 1.0...

    Using C/KU LNB

I have plans to fix a 10 foot dish I have at 101 SES 1. Will I have any success using these dual band LNBs that I see on ebay, (or any someone recommends). I don't have plans to motorize the dish. I did some some threads, but they're quite old

My KU FTA system is back online.

Just wanted to thank KE4EST and Hyper Casey . In the past I've done business with KE4EST, he informed me that he no longer sells equipment and he directed me to Hyper Casey. Hyper Casey was very helpful and got my amigo hd265 going again. I ordered some parts from him and got my dishs going...

    Dual LNBF

Nah wife isn't an issue, I just saw all this equipment for two feeds on one dish and was hoping to keep the amount of equipment down to keep the maintenance down. Sent from my LM-G710VM using the SatelliteGuys app!

    Dual LNBF

Boy the more I read up/research on this, I either gotta go dedicated KU and C, or go with a ortho feed.

    Dual LNBF

So I have what I believe is a 10 foot orbitron dish. It has the button hook for the lnb arm/ holder. I've read many people on here say the C/KU LNBFs are very fussy. With that said I don't want a corotor setup, I'd like to receive C and KU using one 10 foot dish so I can keep the amount of...

    TBD and Quest

On our OTA local area we get two channels which I routinely watch Quest and TBD. Does anyone know of these can be found on FTA? I've looked but have been unsuccessful. I'd like to be able to receive these at camp. Sent from my LM-G710VM using the SatelliteGuys app!

    OTA madness

Trip are you really that much of an asshat? Sure I'm going to tell the guy that he doesn't know what he's talking about?? Come on man get real! Maybe its still a low power station, I didn't ask him that and I didn't scour the license closely enough. All I know is what he told me, he said...

    OTA madness

Yes you are correct, Presque Isle, ME. I actually spoke with the cheif engineer. They are moving the transmitter to Mars Hill and will be broadcasting at full power. I currently already receive the VHF signal of 8 and 10 fone business. I think the move will be finalized this month. Currently...

    OTA madness

So at my camp which is off grid. I did a bunch of research and armed with a spectrum analyzer I put up a TV antenna (according to TV fool I'm in a dead spot) I got the two broadcasters in the county...great. Now the only two broadcasters are actually RF 8 and 10 so I'm using a yagi designed for...

Thanks for confirming my suspicions. I am setting up a C and KU dish at my camp. I am in very remote area and I'd like to pick up the music channels and some additional TV. It looks like what you said a handheld STB. Do they come preloaded with the sats or do I have to manually enter...
