Yup we dont get the pentagon channel, none of the fox sports channel come in HD and their SD quality is absolutely poor, and only some movie package channels are in HD and the rest are SD. I am hoping this satellite will help with some of the issues for Hawaii.

The SD channels are horrible, especially on fox sports regional channels. Cant even make out the text when I was watching the football, they are too pixelated.

I wondering if that would be more available HD programming in hawaii?

I think dish needs to upgrade everyone who is currently on SD, to 20" hdtv, get some promotion thing going.

Dish should remove all sd stations, its 2014. Just offer HD standard, nothing special about HD anymore. It been around for 15 years, noone wants SD anymore. SD channels are horrible quality on dish, especially the fox sports network stations, I cant even get in HD in Hawaii.

Just curious why are your signal strength so high but loose reception easily on the mainland. I live in hawaii and we have tons of rain where I live at, my signal strength are between 14-40 for all 3 sats. We have no signal loss issue, at least there is thunder and lightening.

I actually installed my hopper on my owe, I bought mines brand new from ebay for 150, and got dish 1000.2 as well from ebay. So I dont know what the tech support is talking about, the only thing I had the technician do was ground the satellite dish properly.

I think mobile video is cool, but for me when watching a video on my cellphone. It is not really great as my eyes gets tired, I find myself getting a headache after 15 minutes of watching a mobile video using the dish anywhere app.

No the front panel select button doesn't work either, just freezes. It started after the latest update.
