this has happened to me too. but it only seems to have happened if i changed addresses or modulated outputs before activation, and then they go back to default after activation. so my quick fix is to not change any settings until after activation..

did you say that you already have a dish at your house, and its dgoing to a dvr? if thats a dpp twin, then you should only have to plug in your new 301 to your existing system. (or if its a dpquad with open ports) have you tried that?

did you put he ground block after the switch? i've never seen that done and never thought about doing it that way. ...... wait a sec, you'd have to strech the messenger wire around the switch to the ground blocks. it makes so muc more sence to ground before the sw. unless you ive in a state...

what is the skew on your 1k.2? thats insane. here in mn its only 114ish and i thought that was a lot. you should get a wood 4x4 or 6x6 instead of the pole if you're doing a 2 dish solution. and why not go to a 500 w/ a dpp twin instead of messin around with the 1k.2?
