Since there will be no more 118 sat in a few months, why did they even bother with this re-design of the DPH 42...now that both arcs will only need 2 sat positions for all programing going forward?

It's only a 3rd tier religious channel & is on D* (in SD) as well - probably added as a P/I or pay-to-play channel :rolleyes

You'll get better results going to the local station directly, as they have a more vested interest in their listings being correct, than the TV provider does...

I'm SO glad to see this post...this has been happening on one of my HWS's since this AM, but not on the other, though it was tuned to different channels. On the bad one, I only changed around a couple of channels & it was doing this on all of them, so I honestly thought the receiver was dying...

BUT the skip (codes) were NOT on CBS last night, they were on the cable channels. ;) I suspect auto-hop works similarly the way Tivo commercial skip does - the skip codes apply to each specific show, & NOT the network(s) they appear on. So because there is NO such restrictions on the cable...

Because it was being shown 2 hours later on CBS... FWIW, I counted at least 7 other Viacom networks it was also being shown on simultaneously w/Paramount.

THANK YOU for posting this - all this new "feature" does for me is bog down my (already slow) HWS's & has NO value whatsoever for me. Matter of fact when I was doing PIP & doing trick play between tuners, it ended up erroring out & locked the damn screen up! Once I switched it back to classic...

So I wonder what happens to the last few Uverse TV subs with this merger - & yes, I know a couple people that still have it.

Well what's even more interesting...DISH, who does NOT have that much spare bandwidth (at least on WA) after they ditched the 129 slot & is also doing streaming-only channels, recently launched Fox Weather HD, but as a normal sat delivered channel. :confused:

So is it the same way for these channels on DTV Stream? (I know Music Choice isn't available on Stream, but I'm not sure on those others)

What about i24 ch 343 & Cheddar ch 354, which have been like this for years now, since they were first launched. It probably won't work, as it doesn't for the above 2 channels either. When I go to either one of these on my HR24, all I get is a DTV splash screen, then a pop-up message stating...

Hey zippy, since you're in the Chicago DMA, check to see if you're now getting WTVK-59 HD in your locals lineup...DISH's website is now indicating this, though they have it listed as from Peoria.

Any/all Ho 1, 2 or 3's are normally $15 each; my primary HWS (DVR) fee though is only $10 & my other 2 HWS are $12, all for being a "loyal sub" & being on a 2-year price lock contract.
