I'm desperate LOL. 5G has struck again and has been pretty much overwhelming my Perf+ Red LNBF for the last 2 weeks. Transponders on 4120MHz and up seem to be much more stable. Anything under is almost unwatchable.

It is live again on 91w ITC in 4:2:0. Scans as CW Backup

I'm not sure. I don't quantitatively know how much the foil is helping to be honest. I'm just throwing ideas against the wall and seeing what sticks.

I wish I had good news. I guess power up has happened again in my area. Everything is pretty well gone again, with the Perf Plus C238. It worked about 6 weeks. But I guess I'm out of luck now. Really need a blue model, Brian *wink, wink*

I figured it would be ok with TV for me because I don't record constantly. Just a show here and there. Or short snips of feeds and I didn't want to keep spinning the drive up and down.

Not to hijack, but you can connect 2 E2 receivers with the same image to send satellite from the server to the client? That's great. I have a mio and H7C.

Why not a SSD?

I recorded some feeds recently and noticed the 4:2:2 files were nearly 4x the size of the 4:2:0 files of similar length. There is clearly a lot more data involved to process but I still don't understand why there hasn't been a receiver built to handle it without streaming it someplace else...

Exactly my point. I've tried telling people to relax and wait for things to develop. I'm not missing anything from 3.0 that I cannot find on my 1.0 channels.

I scanned 113w tonight and found a lot of channels in the 3800-3900mhz band to work perfectly. Absolutely no errors. But 3900 is pretty well completely gone. 3980 is watchable for some short periods but error correction eventually loses the battle. I thought it is interesting, but the channels...

I checked earlier today, and I did not find this channel. So don't be surprised if it is not there.

I used regular foil and then some spare reflectix bubble wrap.

I wouldn't buy anything without 5G filtering. It'll eventually catch up with you.

The Performance Plus LNBF is still working well for everything 4.0ghz and up. I'm just bummed that I am having issues with the FTA Weather Channel on 127w. But I did try something that does help a little. Much less errors with my Faraday LNB Cover.

Well, I got it aligned with good results. I have it tuned for 89w, 101w, 105w, 113w, 117w, 123w, and 129w. I tried 87w for fun before moving the LNB to 89, and I was still able to lock Newsource at 11.7dB, and I still had a viewable signal on LPB. But I have dedicated dishes for 87, 97, 99, and...

I haven't been able to find any nearby source of interference. This just started when Verizon announced they were going "full power" on 5G, whatever that actually means. The new LNBF had it whipped just until the last week. Have I mentioned that I HATE 5G?? My closest cell tower is 2 miles...

I've never used the V7 Pro but I have a V7x5 that works alright as a bedroom TV receiver. You're going to have to enter all of your satellites manually. I'm not familiar with how to run a blind scan, but it should have that feature for sure.
