I could be mistaken, but that sure looks like a 1.8 Prodelin which would be around 6 feet.

Watching the inauguration today, I am fascinated with the technology used in the motorcade. Apparently they brought in military signal jammers for the inauguration. I would love a ride in that truck that is covered with antennas.

This fight was about as real as Hulk Hogan vs Ultimate Warrior. Tyson's legs and gas tank were clearly done by the second round and Paul backed off. There was no way that Paul was going to brutally KO a 58 year old boxing legend. It was a light sparring session for the rest of the fight.

Just checked with the 2.4m offset Prodelin here in central Canada, and the LPB channels are definitely still on the air, with no dropouts. The levels are slightly lower than the Florida channel. Hope that helps.

If it isn't too late, run a 1 inch (or bigger) conduit from your attic to your electrical panel. Technology changes fast.

Unfortunately I don't have much to add except to say that I was fortunate to meet your Dad. It was during the CES in Las Vegas around 90 or 91. Shaun Kenny rented a room for a presentation and Chuck Dawson was a guest speaker. Your Dad was a very good communicator.

Thank you for the great information! I am in the process of refurbishing the 2 motors but have encountered a bit of a problem in that I can't seem to get the housing apart. I don't know if there is a bolt I am missing or it simply requires a bit of force to get it apart. I will post more...

Forums like this are becoming rare yet so important and valuable in supporting big dish and FTA. Let's hope this forum and this great hobby are around another 21 years.
