We'll see what happens. The last day the temps will be over 50F for the next couple of months is today, so I went out and put it on the dish, and the parts that hung over, I just folded around the backside of the dish. I guess I will see what happens.

The "Small Reflector" is the normal sized one, but it's smaller than the Direct TV one. The heater overhangs the reflector by about 2" on either side.

I just purchased a Hot Shot Model HSSLNGRFKIT 28" x 20" satellite heater from Solid Signal. I told the sales guy I was using the small Dish Satellite dish, and he sent me this model. When I spread it out over the dish, it is much bigger than the dish. I have searched online all over the place...

Where could I get similar replacement limiter switches? I kinda like the cleaning it all up idea. The motor and everything worked 6 months ago- even with the rock in place... now it doesn't seem to matter- it doesn't work either way.

I am an electrical idiot. Is there any way to bypass them? I picked up this used c band dish maybe 25 years ago and when I remember to use it, it worked ok..... but recently I turned it on and apparently I am getting an error on my Titanium Satellite ASC1 that I am at my western limit.... except that I am not.... the satellite is pointing in the middle...

Hey everyone, thanks for the help.... I give in... I will hire someone to come out here and set this thing up. I am wasting too much time and might as well pay someone to get it all dialed in for me.

I am talking about the red and white wires going to the sateliite from the ASC1. So it will be out of the loop. So by attaching the big wires (red and white) on my ribbon wire going to the satllite, (and disonnnecting the ASC1 from the loop) by touching the wires to the battery, it should move...
