Didn’t do the beta as I’m enjoying 18.1 even though it doesn’t do a lot. I also just got an m4 iPad Pro 11” which is running it. Getting lots of chuckles out the ways it summarizes message threads.

I meant the new camera control. Called it the wrong thing. I barely use the action button. But good ideas there. And the Otterbox defender has it setup so it makes that control so easy to use. And I have never accidentally launched it.

BUT I love the action button. Really so useful with the camera.

Scott Greczkowski one question -- how is battery life on 18.2? On 18.01 I am finding my iPhone 16 Pro Max takes a beating and I am on wifi all day. It doesn't reach critical levels, but much faster drain than my 15 Pro Max did.

Thanks Scott. I figured you were on it. But you consider the betas stable enough for everyday use of normal things in iOS? I just upgraded to my 16 Pro Max, and am on 18.01. I expect AI will take a while to get there. But the photo editing is enticing.

What book are the loosely basing this season on? I really hate how the Bosch/LL series pick pieces of stories which as a reader, I view as a complete whole.

I can honestly say I will NEVER watch Discovery again. The only redeeming value of it was giving us SNW and grudge the cat, beyond that I've got nothing. Alas, the next series will take place in the same 32nd century world. Blech. And please, somebody take the keys to the franchise away...

Agreed about productivity and cost. I can use it to very much improve my productivity. BUT I know how to write. I know how to make arguments. I know how to summarize information. But my students don't have those skills, or have them in limited ways. And are we helping them? In all...

Not really. it means the data gets uploaded and processed, but is not added to the training database which expands its scope. No different then when I use the Team version of ChatGPT. None of the documents uploaded go to the full database. It is in its own sandbox.
