Titanium Satellite Announces the Release of the 5G Blue Filter C-Band LNBF Models - C140 and C240

I wouldn't recommend or count on this working and YMMV but I am able to receive some feeds on 117W between 3900-4000W with the C240. I didn't take any notes but IIRC the transponders which I could get a good signal lock were above 3950 and probably strong feeds to begin with.

Titanium Satellite Announces the Release of the 5G Blue Filter C-Band LNBF Models - C140 and C240

Swapped out my C238 for C240 yesterday. Definitely made a noticeable difference as everything above 4000 is back to be interference free. I'll miss looking around below 4000 but this was a no-brainer upgrade. Thanks Titantium for making these available.

    Another Spectrum Auction?

Not based on any facts, just pure speculation... when the dust settles and ATSC 3.0 kicks in there will be DRM free channels but limited to 480i/p.

Testing the Titanium C140 and C240 5G Filtered BLUE LNBFs

Aside from differences in frequency filtering, how does the signal strength from 4000-4200 MHz compare between the C138 and C140? If I'm understanding the graphs correct, the C140 looks like it has better signal?

    Circular C-Band reception

Thanks for the good info. Anyone try using one of these: C Band Dual Polarity Circular Polarisation Kit or Extension Tube For Circular C Band Lnbf Regarding dielectric plate insertion, it looks like there are grooves inside waveguide to hold it in place so is there a correct orientation...

    Circular C-Band reception

Its been a few years since I checked out the limits of my LOS so this time I thought I'd see if I can receive any circular C-band signals which is something I've never tried. Not sure if there is anything ITC but targets this weekend will be 47.5W and 53W so the big unknown is if I'll get...

Testing the new Titanium C138 Performance Plus C Band LNBF

Titanium thank for the update. I'm sure you'll be releasing full specs when it's ready but can you share what the frequency range is for the new blue filter LNBF?

Possible new combo S2-DVB and ATSC 1.0 & 3.0 Set Top Box from Manhattan-Digital

My understanding is that ATSC 3.0 uses Google Widevine DRM encryption. Assuming this is correct, any new STB from Manhattan-Digital will need to be running Android or Google TV if ATSC 3.0 is to be functional. Can Jeff hire programmers to write a stable fully functional DVB app for Android? I'd...

Possible new combo S2-DVB and ATSC 1.0 & 3.0 Set Top Box from Manhattan-Digital

I had read this somewhere but has that been confirmed by someone at SD or just internet speculation (which may be correct)? As I have one of their 4k tuners, I'm hoping its not true or the FCC steps in but it does highlight the challenges/risks of Manhattan-Digital jumping into the ATSC 3.0...

Possible new combo S2-DVB and ATSC 1.0 & 3.0 Set Top Box from Manhattan-Digital

If you need beta testers for FTA DVB and ATSC 3.0 I'd be happy to participate and a stable easy to use DVB STB would always be welcome. IIRC, several years ago Jeff was going to introduce a HiSilicon based (Android?) DVB-S2/ATSC STB. Maybe someone else knows the details but I don't believe it...
