    Finished tonight. The final episode was worth the journey but I do think the Spencer Alex story was too drawn out. Curious what Sheridan does with the 1940's series.

    007 Sean Connery 4K 6-Film Collection

    Tempted to order the non-steelbook edition but I think I will probably wait for the reviews. Reminds me of the first three Star Wars movies, I’ve lost track of how many versions I bought over the years.

    New software version 15.8.1 available for later models. Double tap on the side or back of the Kindle for page forward. Works on my backup Paperwhite.

    Alexa issues

    In Alexa settings, under devices, select your Ring Doorbell. Under the Announcements section is Announcement Devices. There you can select which devices will notify you if the doorbell is activated. This is from Alexa on an iPhone.

    Apple "Scary Fast" Event on 10/30/2023 at 8 PM ET

    I ended up ordering a cheap Satechi hub. Realized I still need a few USB A ports. At present I don't have much need for Thunderbolt. I ordered new Apple keyboard and mouse since they now have USB C for charging. I think that will sunset Lightning cable requirements in my home.

    Ordered a M4 Mac Mini today to replace my 27" iMac. Decent trade-in on the iMac. Ordered a 32" Samsung M8 for a display. Should all be here next week. Going to wait to see if I need any sort of dock once I try this stuff out.
