Retired mechanical engineer, living in the woods on a small lake. Have DirecTV but it constantly has problems and the local service people do not seem to understand much about their system. A year ago we lost service but regained it when I remounted the dish in a tree. DTV refuses to deal with it and paid me to re-wire it myself. I am now doing than and need to learn more about microswitches etc. I have already gotten some valuable clues from your web site, and I shall soon have more questions.
