Okay, I FINALLY got everything set on my AM21 for DirecTV, since everything is coming in right now. But, I'm missing a zip code for one channel. I live in Rochester, MN and I need a zip code for 48.2 MeTV from the La Crosse, WI market if it's attainable, and preferably a zip code that is a MeTV one...Thanks...

You can try Raleigh NC or Harrisburg PA. But you might screw up some of the channels you already have.

But it's RF channel number is 49. So it matches La Crosse's 48.2 RF49. Being a .2 RF49 channel the AM21 will match it.

Question coconut... If I have my antenna pointing towards just the La Crosse, WI market, and if it will write over just La Crosse, WI or some of my other stations as well? The reason that I ask is because some of added zip code channels for La Crosse, WI are wrong guide info anyways, but if it may write over stations from markets pointing in different directions (with correct guide info, that is) I might have to think about it. Anyways thanks for your help...

Usually, if your not receiving a channel at the time you rerun a setup on the AM21, you might lose the channel. But, not always. So if you're pointing your antenna at La Crosse, you might lose channels in your other markets that you already have. By running Raleigh NC, you will get 48.2 RF49 La Crosse, if your antenna is receiving that channel at the time of the setup. But I have no way of knowing what your configuration looks like right now. If you have almost all the channels you desire right now I would leave it that way. One thing to remember. There is a good chance when there is a software upgrade and the DVR reboots, you will lose most of your channels attained with your secondary zips and you will have to redo the process to get them back. One helpful hint on that issue. If you look at the settings and help, system info and go to more system info. It lists a lot of system info. If you scroll down the screen it will have listed a primary zip and a secondary zip. These are the last two zip codes run on an AM21 setup. When the DVR reboots, it will retain all the channels in these two zip codes. So if you have hard to attain channels, just make sure that zip is stored in your DVR and it should retain that channel, even after a reboot. So in essence, make sure you have the zips of your hardest to attain channels stored in your DVR, in case of a reboot.

58.1 WAWDDT
58.2 KDTXDT2
58.3 KDTXDT3
58.4 KDTXDT4
58.5 KDTXDT5

BTW, turns out stations 16, 43, and 62 were just a fluke that just came in on a very good day. I typed out everything I need to do in case I need to redo the setup. Now that you know the stations I currently get, should I attempt at 48.2, not, or is there anything else I can attempt?

With that lineup, I would think your safe trying Raleigh. The main reason being, no other 48 channels, and no other RF49 channels. It should put 48.2 RF49 in your lineup without affecting anything else. The AM21 can be a really unpredictable thing, so there are no guarantees, but I would try it. I see you got 5.3 KSTC METV with the correct guide by using Mobile AL (5.3 WKRG) and 6.2 KAAL THIS with the correct guide by using Albany/Schenectady NY (6.2 WRGB). Good Luck in getting 48.2 La Crosse with the correct guide.

Will do. Won't work at the moment because channel 48 at this moment isn't coming in. You probably know as I do that not all your distant OTA channels come in all the time. But, when it comes in, I sure will! Best time is at night.

By studying your lineup further I can see you used Dallas TX 3.3 KPXD and 58.2-58.5 KDTX, Greenville SC 13.3 WLOS, Lansing MI 47.2 WSYM and as I mentioned before Mobile AL 5.3 WKRG, 23.3 WSRE and 58.1 WAWD and Albany NY for 6.2 WRGB. So in all you used 5 secondary zip codes to add 11 channels with your AM21 not possible by using your Rochester, MPLS/STP, La Crosse/Eau Claire zips. And if you study the Dallas TX 3.3 channel, its why Raleigh will work for 48.2. Dallas's KPXD is broadcast on 68.3 RF42, since Mason City's 3.3 KIMT is also broadcast on RF42 the .3 RF42 matches and will be picked up by the AM21. So Raleigh's 50.2 RF49 should be picked up because of the .2 RF49 match to La Crosse's 48.2.
