I just cant see how hard it is to put more HD on the 110 sat for PR. I mean how hard can it be? and it has been so long with so many complaining....I really dont see why it has not been done. i wish someone who works for dish would comment... and someone who actually knows something.

How can I get the SD locals as well as HD locals on tuner 1 of the VIP722. It only shows HD in guide and not SD alongside like it used to. I know there used to be a setting in the menu but cant find it anymore. maybe a new update deleted it is my guess.

yes the FTA boxes are legal. downloading and installing a file and then using it to connect and view dishnet channels i guess is where it is kind of wrong....and lets say you were paying for these files and there was a paper trail to you...

well the good news is that channels on the weak transponder 19 on 61.5 have been moved to 16.. now i get all HD on 61.5 and i am right next to puetro rico.. with a 6 foot dish.. for now this is great...

DO NOT tell them you are planning to take receiver to aruba as that is against diknet policy. you will not get abc, cbs, nbc or fox as those are spotbeam meaning in miami you will get them but once you move box out of miami spot you will loose them.... do not plug receiver into phone line in aruba.

you can setup a new legal account in miami for one receiver and then bring that receiver to aruba. it will work the same as before but you will not get the networks as they are spotbeamed. remember dont put multiple receivers on an account where you dont have a phone line to plug in or you will...

you could try a three way call but in the end you could have all boxes except the original blacklisted. they will check tel IPs to see where you are calling from , they will use google earth to see where your address is showing.. if you used a fake address such as a warehouse...they have a lot...

i have known people with only 2 boxes to get audited. they did not have phone line plugged in. now i did get audited after all but original box was shut down. i had 4 receivers... ok they were at 4 different locations...i did not pass the audit.:(

Using a 1.8 meter,,, 6 foot anderson dish. i used to get a pretty decent signal on 129 just it was off and on due to the wobble. everyone here in my area of caribbean uses the 6 foot at 61.5 for the HD but there are a few channels missing such as TLC, science channel..

i tried 129 from caribbean but signal just too weak so went back to 61.5 today. to bad.

i will let you know when it is active. If stronger than 61.5 then it will be another option for the HD installs.

i have a great feeling this new sat will help us in caribbean. 61.5 is just too old for us so some transponders hard to get and 129 was good but wobbles cause signal drop.

in caribbean in st maarten. well just about everyone has dishnet here. some legal through the grey market.. basically sub at a usa address and have just one box per account so they are not likely to be audited. the big joke is we have a dishnet installer here who drives around a van with dishnet...
