FYI. 1045 seems to have disabled the blind scan.
Also, for developers, Samba is now installed and enabled, i will provide more details shortly.
For now, if you would like to connect to the receiver from
Windows and manage the recordings, rename them, delete, drop files, you will have to make sure that your TCP/IP has NetBIOS over TCP/IP enabled in WINS (please look at your advanced settings of the TCP/IP protocol in network settings). Then just check your HDVR3500 IP address in the Menu>Settings>Network Settings and Map network drive from Windows explorer or just type \\(your receiver ip address) into explorer and you will see the receiver share in your explorer.
This allows you to do whatever you need to manage files as well as if you like to put your own classics on the receiver drive.
This also prepares a way to manage satellites/transponders/channel lists from the convenience of your computer. Also, gives you the benefits of "single" core processor (this is pun intended, lol)
