I currently have Perfect Vision RG6 cable with no info on the cable whatsoever.

I am replacing my high speed internet cable from the cheapest coax you have ever seen installed by Comcast to some Carol brand cable RG6/U (Home Depot) that will be burried.

Should I get the same Carol cable for Voom while I am replacing cables or should I keep that PV RG6 cable as it is?

Thanks!

I searched the forums for like 3 days and found nothing about what I am asking.

Well they did, but isn't the Perfect Vision RG6 (no other info) a cheap cable. Do I need a cable that will be RG6/U (for burial) and that will be sweep tested to at least 2.2MHZ?

If you are burying the cable your best bet is to get whats called flooded cable. It has a silicon inside of it. Its a little better for direct burial. Most RG-6 cables today are good for all satellite installs. Yes it should be sweep tested for 2.2 MHZ though.

voom install: can i use existing echo* dish

Only Voom's OTA Antenna??
