SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Shares of Cablevision Systems traded modestly lower Tuesday after a published report said the cable operator had come to no decision on an offer by the company's founder to buy the remaining parts of Voom, its troubled satellite business.

Traded lower after reports that they had not come to a decision yesterday.

There are no reports today as yet.

And we haven't even heard that they have adjourned for the day.

Thus, this item is dated, even if they appear to have new info...

FYI.

If I'm not mistaken, it would appear that the decision was released to Nasdaq as pointed out by a member on the post entitled: Good News. It basically gives a reprieve for the remainder of the month, allowing Charles Dolan to get his financing and prevent closure of Voom by the end of the month. It seems as though his New board members cut him the slack he needed to wrap this up his way. I may be wrong, but that is what I make of the release.
