Least Favorite Condiment?

I don't know if you consider it a condiment as much as a dressing, but Krafts Ranch sucks %&*. It tastes like Miracle Whip. I hate Miracle Whip and I will never buy Krafts Ranch ever again.

This is a pretty open-minded bunch. No need to be reluctant to tell us how you really feel. ;)

Sorry! It was my fault that we even had the Kraft Ranch cuz it was cheaper than Hidden Valley. I figured it would taste a little different, but OMG, I couldn't eat my salad cuz it tasted like I just put Miracle Whip on top. EEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!! I threw the bottle out the same day. The commercials for Kraft Ranch I think are stupid and I will never buy anything but Hidden Valley Ranch ever again.:D

I can do without any of the thicker dressings, except MAYBE blue cheese. They all remind me too much of mayonnaise.

My pet peeve is against steak-sauce-a-holics.

Doesn't matter how good of steak it is, they NEED steak sauce!!!!

While I'm in carnivore heaven with my perfect Med Rare Dry Aged T-Bone....

You freaks can have your machine tenderized chuck/bottom round steak drowning in A-1...and never know the difference. At least you're cheap to satisfy. You know liver is almost tolerable with a ton of crap on it too;)

Liver is NEVER, I said NEVER, tolerable under any circumstance or condiment!

Where do you buy your steak?

Where do you buy your steak?
cub, rainbow, roundy's, super value, kroger's etc...for regular fresh steak. Still very good but the dry aged you have to get in a good butcher shop. Its not very popular because it gets a greyish color

You can do it yourself at home, just unwrap it and sit it on a plate in the fridge for a couple days before grilling

In 1954, Steve and Gayle Henson opened a [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dude_ranch"]Guest ranch - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame] near Santa Barbara, California, and named it "Hidden Valley Ranch". As a side business, they sold to guests a special dressing that Steve had developed in [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alaska"]Alaska - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia@@AMEPARAM@@/wiki/File:Flag_of_Alaska.svg" class="image" title="Flag of Alaska"><img alt="Flag of Alaska" src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/e6/Flag_of_Alaska.svg/125px-Flag_of_Alaska.svg.png"@@AMEPARAM@@commons/thumb/e/e6/Flag_of_Alaska.svg/125px-Flag_of_Alaska.svg.png[/ame]. The dressing was popular, and they began selling bottles that guests could take home, and later opened a factory to sell packets of ranch seasoning that had to be mixed with mayonnaise and buttermilk (packets that are still available to this day). I like mayonnaise, just not Miracle Whip, which is what Kraft Ranch tastes like.:) Thanks for the history.:D

While I like both of Cleveland's own spicy brown mustards, personally, I prefer Bertman's Ball Park version over the Stadium Mustard....

Blasphemy! But I'd expect nothing less from a Mayo-lover! :D:D

Miracle Whip is good in salads like chicken and tuna salads, potato salads; however, on roast beef it sucks. IMO

You know... hummus sucks royal

but baba ganoush is a little better

My last girlfriend before I got married used to order her steaks well-done and soaked it in A-1 Steak Sauce. I was so disgusted by this act I dumped her. ;) :)

I am a Med-Rare guy. A properly seasoned steak doesn't need sauce if it's cooked right.

OMG! Ranch is such a finicky product to select. Every different brand of Ranch I try varies so much in flavor.
