I assume the "Oy" part will only be used in Finland. Currently it's Nokia Oyj.

Oyj is the Finnish equivalent of Plc, whereas Oy (short for Osakeyhtiö) is analogous to Ltd.

Its obvious to me that the first handset will be named the Microsoft mobile Oy Vey..

And when that continues to show disappointing sales numbers can follow up with the lower end Microsoft mobile Oy Gevalt.

Again, I don't think the word Oy will be used too much outside Finland (other than for some jokes), just like the word Oyj wasn't used with Nokia even though it is in the company's official name.

The important part is that Nokia will now be known as Microsoft Mobile.
