It’s travel time, friends, and for a lot of us, that means time spent in RV parks. The RV life has never been more popular than it is today. RVs are a great way to travel the country and save money on hotels and plane tickets. With an RV you get all the comforts of home wherever you go. All the comforts, that is, except…

Do you have an internet problem in your RV?

Sometimes it’s hard to get internet within your RV. The way RVs are built– fiberglass shells over metal cages, with hardwoods and tons of wiring inside– does a great job of blocking all sorts of signals. Cell signals can get cut to almost nothing, and if you’re in an RV park with Wi-Fi, you might not be able to get it inside the RV.

But then, you know all that. You’ve come here for a solution, not a rehash of the problem. One of the best is the KING WiFiMax router and range extender. It has a simple mission: great Wi-Fi outside turns into great Wi-Fi inside. It’s the solution for streaming, remote work, and all sorts of internet access while you’re at an RV park. Most parks have Wi-Fi now, but the problem is always great service outdoors and lousy service indoors. That’s what the Wi-FiMax solves. It takes that Wi-Fi from outside the RV and creates a secure personal network inside the RV. You can feel confident streaming and working, or playing and shopping… whatever you need.

A subscription?

That’s the best part of the WiFiMax. You don’t have to pay anything once you’ve bought yours from Solid Signal. There’s no activation fee, no monthly fee, nothing. Of course, the RV park might charge for the use of their Wi-Fi but many parks don’t. That’s up to the park owner, of course. There’s no cost for using the WiFiMax, and that makes it a really economical solution for those people who mostly stay in RV parks.

That’s the best part of all of it. You can install a WiFiMax yourself and get great internet service. There’s no need to call anyone to turn it on or off, and you don’t have to worry about suspending service when you’re not in the RV over the winter. It’s one of those things that “just works.”

Other RV solutions

Personally I think solutions like this are a really great option for RVers. But there are other options if that one doesn’t fit. You can put in an RV cell phone signal booster, which also has no monthly fee. That will give you great internet service as long as there’s good cell signal outside. You can bring in a cellular hotspot to go along with it. Cellular hotspots convert cell signals to Wi-Fi, and they do have a monthly fee. But on the other hand they don’t require the park to have their own Wi-Fi. It’s up to you, of course.
