Audit teams I had a friend who when the audit team called, his wife or child answered the phone and told them Dad wasn't there and they would need to call back. He would get the box back from the cabin in the next week and call them back with the numbers. I think he did this a couple of times.

Upgrades When I upgraded, I had the option to send in and receive a small credit or keep the receivers I owned. I was able to sell them for more than Dish was offering - something like $15 - 20/ unit so I did not turn them in to Dish.

India? I asked why when I was on the phone and they told me I didn't need a DTVPal since the Dish receiver did the same thing. I suspect Dish did not want to be accused of selling devices to their customers that they did not need.

Upgrade They called me last Monday and I installed the new unit Saturday. No cost to me and no mention of new 24 month commitment.

Same letter I called and was told all okay - no charge. I sent in the $10 coupon for my troubles.

Second 622 I was succesful in getting two 622's with the Dishin' It Up by contacting ceo@echostar. The regular CSR would only allow a 622 and a 211. A helpful rep by the name of Mark Duffy at ceo assisted me in getting two 622's instead.

How do they handle your phone number being the same?

I agree with JoLard. I didn't notice until Sunday and checked here in Dish forum and saw no sticky note re free HBO. I thought one of my teenagers had hit the select buttoms during one of the HBO ads. :eek:
